Hi! I’m Noa, an Associate Research Scholar at the Princeton Gravity Initiative (Princeton University). I earned my PhD in physics at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology (2024), advised by Prof. Amos Ori, with a thesis titled Semiclassical effects in black hole interiors. My research lies at the intersection of general relativity and quantum field theory, exploring how quantum effects shape black holes.

Alongside my academic work, I’ve been a long-time science writer and scientific editor with the science-communication NGO Little, Big Science, where I previously also served as Lead Scientific Director. In addition, I take part in outreach through public lectures, podcast interviews, panel discussions and more. Supporting women in physics is especially close to my heart.

I am a recipient of the Princeton Gravity Initiative Research Fellowship (2024-28) and a Fulbright Postdoctoral Fellowship (2024-25), and as a grad student I’ve been honored with several scholarships recognizing academic excellence and supporting outstanding women doctoral students.

Outside of physics, I’m a nature enthusiast (a fungi and slime mold fanatic!) and I enjoy art in all its forms. I’m also Oz’s mom and Shai’s partner.
